From the famous Half Dome “rock” at Yosemite National Park to the “The Rock” at Morro Bay, an adventure car cruise between the two on historic Highway 41 invites you to be a part of the event, From the Summit to the Sea. Taking place October 22-24, 2014, the drive celebrates anniversaries–150 years since the signing of the Yosemite Grant; 150 years since the founding of California State Parks, and 50 years since Morro Bay was incorporated. There’s a registration fee to participate in the car caravan described as consisting of vintage and classic cars.
