Roundhouse Aquarium on Manhattan Beach Pier
Happy Earth Day! People are so eager to help the Earth Day cause that the “Waves of Grain Beerfest” benefiting Roundhouse Aquarium is sold out. The aquarium is a unique and friendly science lab filled with tanks showcasing local fish and sea creatures you’ll find as you swim at the beaches beneath the iconic Manhattan Beach Pier known for its unique building shaped like a round house.
Roundhouse Marine Studies Lab and Aquarium is open to the public daily free of charge, with a suggested donation of around $2. Sea Story Time Hour takes place on Sundays at 11:30 a.m. In the month of April they read books about the Earth and make a cool craft each Sunday. Check for hours and details (roundhouseaquarium.org).
