It’s no secret that the cruise lines had a rough tow during the economic downtown. Thanks to the special interest events that cruise ships now facilitate, you can take a three day cruise to see the planets and stars with fellow sky watchers or throw shouts and hands up for rock stars. On April 18, 2015 a cruise leaves Miami with one thing in mind–rock music.  Monsters of Rock cruise (monstersofrockcruise.com) features 30 bands performing during a three day cruise to the Bahamas. One day is spent at Poseidon’s Grotto in the Berry Island chain of the Bahamas. The 250 acre private island is absolute paradise lined with coconut palm trees, white sand beaches and water so crystal clear, it will take your breath away. As you arrive by tender, you will notice that although much of the island is undeveloped.. just right for rock!  This cruise has Spring Break written all over it. As of this posting there are still a few cabins available, including ocean views.
