Tevis Cup Endurance Race

It’s hard enough to miss a night of sleep but what if you spend your night riding on a horse through forested terrain with only the light of the moon to guide you? That’s only one challenge among dozens during a 24 hour endurance race in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Tevis Cup Challenge 100-mile horse trail race includes a swinging bridge crossing and treacherous Cougar Rock. Around half of the competitors actually complete this race ranked as one of the Top 10 Toughest Endurance Events. The race between Truckee and Auburn on August 1, 2015 is not without dangers but for competitors, it’s a challenge of a lifetime!
