While the coronavirus has pushed medical professionals, grocers and some businesses and services into high gear, others are hoping to get back into action before they lose their shirts.
California’s 50+ county fairs are among the large scale productions hoping for a green light to hold an event in 2020. Since the majority of these fairs take place in summer there aren’t many cancellations yet.
While the fairgrounds host hundreds of expos and shows cancelled currently, there’s still hope for the county fair to return.
Among the upcoming events to watch for news about are Dixon May Fair, Glenn County Fair in Orland, Sacramento County Fair, Salinas Valley Fair in King City and others taking place in late April, May and beyond.
It’s possible that life will return to normal and California’s fantastic 58 counties and their resident humans, animals and plants will have their day in the sun. The fair is filled with food, carnival rides, animal competitions and exhibits, musical entertainment, arts & crafts and shopping galore.
