BUENA PARK, CALIF. — Pictured is the new HangTime, opening on May 18, 2018 at Knott’s Berry Farm. The first and only dive coaster in California includes a beyond vertical drop, gravity-defying inversions, and mid-air suspensions.

  • ANAHEIM: Disneyland Pixar Pier unveiled the permanent Incredicoaster ride at Disney California Adventure. Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular and Pixar Fest run through summer.
  • BUENA PARK: HangTime dive coaster.
  • CARLSBAD: Legoland Castle Hotel and new 4D Film, Lego Ninjago – Master Of The 4th Dimension!
  • GILROY: Gilroy Gardens Water Oasis adds 42 new play features (for 94 total) with 4 new slides.
  • SAN DIEGO: SeaWorld San Diego new Electric Eel Coaster is the tallest, fastest roller coaster in San Diego. High-energy twists provide the only upside down view of Mission Bay.
  • SANTA CLARA: California’s Great America unleashes a new single rail steel coaster, RailBlazer, the first coaster of its kind on the West Coast. The rider straddles the rail, rising 106 feet before plunging face down at a 90-degree angle, traveling 52 miles per hour.
  • UNIVERSAL CITY: Universal Studios Hollywood unveils Kung Fu Panda: The Emperor’s Quest. A multi-sensory attraction introduces the first-ever integration of interior projection mapping designed to engulf guests in 180 degrees of immersive adventure.
  • VALENCIA: Six Flags Magic Mountain’s  Twisted Colossus,  the longest, most innovative hybrid coaster in the world has a new twist. Also featured is DC Super Heroes Drop of Doom VR with special VR headsets.
  • VALLEJO: Six Flags Discovery Kingdom’s new Harley Quinn Crazy Coaster is the world’s first dual looping coaster. It features continuous inversions along a vertically stacked figure eight track.
