Spring Break at California’s Theme Parks

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (pictured) likes to celebrate Spring Break each year with special entertainment and in 2018, there’s Arcade Happy Hour.  In addition to this fantastic beach attraction, Roaring Camp Railroads is running their Beach Train on Easter Weekend (March 31 & April 1.) The train travels several times per day between the Beach Boardwalk and the redwoods in the local mountain town of Felton.

California Theme Park Spring Break 2018!

  • Disneyland (open every day) unveils Pixar Fest April 13.
  • Knott’s Berry Farm: Spring Break Boysenberry Festival includes boysenberry foods, beverages, and special shows.
  • Legoland California Water Park opens in March.
  • Gilroy Gardens Opening day March 18. Much anticipated for Bay Area kids and families.
  • Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach serves a special Easter Brunch.
  • SeaWorld San Diego features the Seven Seas Food Festival March 17 – April 15, and 7 Daring Flavors, presented by Coca-Cola.
  • California’s Great America in Santa Clara opening day is March 24.
  • Santa Cruz Spring Break at the Beach Boardwalk March 24 – April 8 features magic shows, Spongebob and the Beach!
  • Universal Studios Hollywood is open daily and continues to attract large crowds with The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle March 24-April 7.
  • Vallejo’s Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Spring Break March 23 thru April 8 features a Block Party.
  • Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia has special hours for Spring Break.
