In Sacramento, San Diego and Santa Margarita this weekend beer lovers might enjoy beer festivals. In Sacramento the action takes place at Wake Island Sports, a scenic waterfront location for the Sacramento Ball Sack and Beer Fest on April 11, 2015. The event is descriptively named for its special fundraising cause — testicular cancer. Men ages 15 to 35 are the age group most likely to be diagnosed with this type of cancer, which, if detected early, has a 95% cure rate.
In San Diego The Rockstar Beer Festival at Hard Rock Hotel is also on April 11, and Santa Margarita’s From the Barrel on April 10 is at Firestone Walker Brewing Company.
