Billed as the largest tomato seedling sale in the world, Tomatomania returns to Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge on March 29-30, 2015. The plant sale features heirloom varieties, old favorites and unusual offerings. California is the nation’s leader in growing and selling processed tomatoes thanks to our year-round mild climate in the Central Valley. Now is an excellent time to plant tomatoes for summer crops so the World’s Largest Sale couldn’t come at a better time! It is the first spring event to launch tomato festival season, starting with a newcomer, the Inland Empire Salsa Festival on May 16, 2015. Here’s more info!
