  • 2 out of 5 star hotel averages $144 night; 3 star = $182 night
  • Most affordable cities to visit: Las Vegas, then Jacksonville, Fla. followed by Orlando, Kansas City and Detroit
  • Most expensive vacation destinations: New York City, followed by California’s Santa Barbara, San Francisco and 8th most expensive – Los Angeles
