Bring the family to join in the fun, and bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Holiday Train Toy Drive. The annual Caltrain Holiday Train (holiday-train.org) is presented by Caltrain and Silicon Valley Community Foundation (siliconvalleycf.org). It partners with organizations to collect toys at train stations for underserved children in local communities.
It delights Bay Area families at nine stations between San Francisco and Santa Clara with glittering lights, holiday giving and holiday treats. At each stop there's entertainment, characters such as Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph and Santa's elves to interact with the crowds and entertain them.
In recent years Caltrain Holiday Train brought together over 35,000 Bay Area residents and collected over 3,000 toys.
