You can eat the corn dogs, head for the carnival, watch the Chefs’ Showdown, and listen to bands perform, but while you’re visiting the California State Fair in Sacramento July 11-27, 2014, be sure to drop by the California State Parks exhibit which commemorates 150 years. Learn about historic Yosemite Valley, California’s first state park (now a national park,) and modern-day natural wonders that attract millions of visitors from all over the world to 280 park units. The special exhibit contains photos and memorabilia in an entertaining display that will make you want to head for a park for your own celebration. The exhibit is in Expo Center 3.
