There’s no better way to say “I love you” than in a romantic song. For those who can’t carry a tune, singing the song to your love interest could be a deal breaker, however. Californians can hire the singing Valentines or buy tickets to a special Valentine’s concert. In this year’s concert options one thing stands out — not cheap. The acts range from Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett at the Wiltern in Los Angeles ($230-2250), to romance bands from the 60s, 70s, and on — Peaches & Herb (Reunited) and The Delfonics (‘La La Means I Love You’ and ‘Didn’t I Blow Your Mind This Time’.) “Super Love Jam” music festivals hit cities Fresno, Bakersfield, San Jose and San Diego with ticket prices starting at $35. You can also find Smooth Jazz love concerts with Brian Culbertson ($66-100,) David Benoit & Phil Perry ($45-100,) and ethnic romance bands such as Asian artists Vibe & 4Men ($60-259) or Latin sensation Grupo Niche ($45). For the classical romantic, Carnegie Hall pianist Katya Grineva performs Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and Debussy’s Claire de Lune ($100) at Saratoga’s Villa at Montalvo. Here’s more info…>
