Whaley House San Diego tours (left) and Haunted Queen Mary ship in Long Beach

When a custom housing development was completed and people moved out as quickly as they moved into their $2+ million houses, a friend who worked for the developer told me it was because the new homes were haunted. The company was caught unearthing an ancient Indian burial site and not reporting the artifacts they were digging up. Eventually they were slapped with a small fine. Is it possible that the custom homes were really haunted?  Some would laugh or scoff and say it’s all hooey, while others have no doubt that ghosts are real. The truth is that ghosts are popular in contemporary culture and interest is heightened around Halloween. Things have certainly changed–haunted hotels used to hide employee and guest reports of anomolous phenomena while today, many declare they are haunted in attempts to attract thrill-seekers looking for ghosts! Here are some Halloween Ghost Tours and Graveyard Tours & Events!
