There’s no business like show business when it comes to dogs. The annual Belmont Shore Bulldog Beauty Contest on Feb. 12, 2017 brings together beloved “bullies” — including dogs with disabilities. With over 15 contest categories no wonder this annual event is such a hit!

The biggest, oldest dog beauty pageant on the planet, the 141st Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, also takes place this weekend through Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, when the “Best in Show” is chosen at Madison Square Garden, New York City. Last year was amazing for Californians! The 2016 Best In Show was awarded to a German shorthaired pointer, California Journey (CJ) of Temecula, who beat 2,751 of the most spectacular canines from around the globe. Reserve Best in Show went to a borzoi, also from Temecula, known for its award-winning wines, and now its award-winning canines!
