Pictured is Tea by the Sea in San Pedro on April 28, 2018. No reservations necessary. Come and enjoy the historic Point Fermin Lighthouse gardens overlooking the Pacific Ocean where tea and refreshments will be served all day.

In California there are always signs of tea. In Kingsburg they have the water tower shaped like a teapot that millions of people can see driving by on the highway. At Disneyland everybody rushes inside the theme park to ride the colorful Teacups, always a delight. And throughout California there are lovely tea gardens in the most famous parks spanning the state from  San Diego’s Balboa Park to San Francisco’s Golden Gate.

You don’t have to travel very far to enjoy tea time in California. There are tea houses such as Tuck Box English Tearoom in Carmel by the Sea serving up charm and long-time traditions.

Special tea events are quite a treat, however, and California’s got you covered on those, as well. Here are a few!
