Marching bands, military units, service organizations and honored vets come together in Veterans Day Parades, while the public shows its support by attending, cheering and waving the Red, White & Blue.

There are more than 30 patriotic parades this week in California with the majority taking place on Sunday, November 11. When Veterans Day falls on a Sunday, organizations that formally observe this federal holiday (including U.S. Postal Service) will normally be closed on Monday, November 12th.
