Dates are fun, especially in the date oasis, Palm Desert. Celebrate with the date-loving Queen Scheherazade in the time-honored tradition– the Arabian Nights Musical Pageant at Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival Feb. 13-22, 2015. As one of the most unique county fairs in California and a perfect launch to fair season, this year’s entertainment includes the popular camel and ostrich races, The Commodores, country singer Brett Eldredge, a carnival, and 10 days of extreme thrills. If you don’t have a date for this event, be sure to pick up some at one of the vendor stands selling fresh, juicy ones!
