Angella Christie in Sacramento
Award winning Gospel saxophonist, Angella Christie, is pictured from her album release, The Breath of Life, and poses with jazz legend, BB King. Tickets are still available for her concert in Sacramento on July 31, 2015, at 7 p.m. The professional performer was born in Los Angeles of missionary parents. In addition to winning numerous musical awards, Angella, who lives in Atlanta, is a black belt in karate, has run marathons, 1st place in Amateur Body Building and remains single, having never been married. The fundraiser concert at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 3996 14th Ave., is a fundraiser for the Carrie Sue Williams Scholarship Foundation.
