SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY ASPARAGUS FESTIVAL April 15-17, 2016

STOCKTON, CALIF. — Blame Carol and Tony Noceti for their determination to save the Asparagus Festival when it nearly vanished in 2015! The couple specializes in resurrecting things (such as the Stockton 99 Speedway renamed to The New Stockton 99 Speedway.) The Asparagus Festival with its famous deep-fried asparagus returns another year in the place where it belongs at San Joaquin County Fairgrounds in Stockton. The county grows the most asparagus of any place in the U.S.
