Cayucos Sea Glass Festival brings together collectors, enthusiasts, tourists, and all of us who want to see sea glass in one of the few such events in California, held March 9-10, 2013. Located in Veterans Hall next to Cauycos Pier, admission is only $3, and the scenery in March when the hills take on lush greens or sport wildflowers after seasonal rains, is well worth the price. Cayucos is located on California’s Central Coast in San Luis Obispo County between Morro Bay and Cambria. When you visit, you’re just a 35-40 minute coastal drive from Hearst Castle, as well.  In addition to two days of festival displays, workshops, live music and silent auctions, a special ticket- guest appearance by Richard LaMotte on March 8 welcomes a recognized sea glass expert who’s written the book, “Pure Sea Glass”.
