YERMO, CALIF. — Calico Ghost Town out in the desert is ready for Calico Days complete with a burro race, miners triathlon, mountain music, train rides, entertainment, and good old grub. The coolest thing of all is you can camp at the Ghost Town, operated by County of San Bernardino Regional Parks. Actually, there’s one thing cooler. The temperature is expected to drop which means that today’s 100 degree weather will chill so guests can enjoy a dry, pleasant 88 degrees! The burros like that.  If you’re doing the Vegas drive, you owe it to yourself to stop and see this fun place. Here are two more events coming up:

Ghost Haunt – Two weekends of Halloween, October 24-26 and October 31-November 2, 2014
Ghosts and goblins and plenty of fun for two back-to-back weekends.

Holiday Fest – Thanksgiving Weekend, November 29 – December 1, 2013
Festive fun to begin the holiday season! Entertaining activities, performances and tree lighting, too!
