California Cities Turning 100 in 2014

So you’re having your 100th birthday? You don’t look a day over 99. There are six fabulous cities sharing a centennial in 2014. What will they be doing to celebrate? Several cities such as Beverly Hills and Walnut Creek have merchandise, many events, websites and a year of celebrating. Smaller cities have yet to mention publicly what their celebrations will amount to. From simple farm towns to urban destinations that include Rodeo Drive, the diverse group of cities with 100-year birthdays in 2014 are to be congratulated for their proud heritage and contributions to the State of California.
