California Party Boat Rides – Halloween, Whales, Wine

Published on: September 20, 2012

Do you think those commercial seafaring vessels off the California shores are strictly for catching fish? Though such excursions are one of the best profit generators for boat companies, there’s more to the sea than the catch of the day. Dana Wharf is one of the boat companies offering anglers fun–but the’ve also built a loyal clientele that just wants to ride like wind and be out “in the swim” without getting dirty, sweaty, smelly or wet.  As Halloween approaches, it is time for the 4th Annual Dana Wharf Boo Cruise on Friday, October 26th, 2012.  Sum Fun cruise boat runs every 20 minutes. No reservations required, $5 donation recommended.

Here are some fun ways to celebrate the sea (danawharf.com):

  • Blue Whale season runs May – October (752 Blue Whales were spotted last year)
  • Orange County Wine Cruise Fridays & Sundays 5-7 p.m. $49 per person
  • Evening Whale Watching Evening Whale Watching Trips daily
  • Daytime Whale Watching
