CAPITOLA BY THE SEA, CALIF. — You better watch out ’cause Santa Claus is coming to town— by boat. His elves row and steer Surfin’ Santa to shore where he barefoots it on the sand over to his beach chair to listen to eager groms share their Christmas wish lists with the head dude. Kids are invited to meet Santa and build snowmen sandcastles afterwards, if they like. The big event happens every year at the beach at Capitola Village Esplanade. In 2014, you can meet Santa on November 29, Noon-3 p.m. See you there!
