Life’s definitely a beach this Christmas at Bolsa Chica State Beach when Santa arrives on a lifeguard watercraft. Along with his helpers from Huntington State Beach Lifeguard Association (HSBLA), he rescued Christmas for children worried that Santa hasn’t read their letters.  With a wink, nod and “ho, ho, ho,” Santa assured adorable girls & boys that he’s received and examined all their request for Christmas gifts.

The 2nd annual Christmas at the Beach party hosted by world-famous Bolsa Chica State Beach and HSBLA  featured sunglass-clad Santa Claus, a spectacular sunset, toasty beach bonfires, free food, crafts and holiday entertainment. The third most visited state park in California welcomes millions of vacationers and beach-goers annually. Thanks to its incredible activities, staff, officers and lifeguards, people feel like it’s Christmas all year-long at Bolsa Chica State Beach. See parks.ca.gov
