Christmas Day Shopping for Procrastinators

If you didn’t meet your deadline for holiday shopping, you are not alone. There are fewer places for procrastinators to shop on December 25, however. Major department stores that rarely close do so on Christmas Day. Even the discount chains such as Walmart, Target, Costco and K-Mart are taking a day off. If you’re up against the wall on gift buying and need something quick, try Walgreens, RiteAid, CVS or your nearest grocery store. The easiest items to buy are gift cards to popular restaurants… and you’ll find them right around the checkout counter. What’s open? Some restaurants are open, seasonal ice rinks are open, and here’s a list of the theme parks and zoos where you can play on Christmas Day!
