Cinco de Mayo is around the bend.
While many prefer Irish music and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, Cinco de Mayo has its own unique charm in cities such as Los Angeles (Olvera Street) and San Diego Old Town. These colorful destinations are great places to visit any time but our personal favorite for Cinco de Mayo is Old Town San Diego where they know how to make margaritas just right. A big stage is set up in the plaza where bands and dancers perform while visitors watch or can stroll around the town shopping, dining and celebrating South of the Border charm just a few miles from Mexico.
