Help Decorate Rose Parade Floats!

PASADENA, CALIF. — When the 2016 “Find Your Adventure” Rose Parade steps out on Friday, January 1, it will be so exciting to witness. Even after the big event many line up and pay a fee to see the floats on view for several days. A fun and satisfying thing to do before the parade is to volunteer to help build a float. The public is invited to participate in Deco Week, usually volunteering approx. 3.5 hours for assigned tasks such as preparing and trimming flowers or placing them on a float.  Cal Poly San Luis Obispo has a float entry that students design and construct on campus, then ship in several pieces to the final decorating location in a tent in Pasadena.
