It may be cold outside, but there’s a warm fire burning and hearts beating in the village this weekend, be it Auburn, San Simeon, Placerville, Columbia, Truckee’s Village at Northstar or San Juan Bautista. California may be home to Silicon Valley, Google driverless cars and Amazon drone deliveries, but it is also where you’ll find people hugging, building bonfires, sipping cocoa, wearing mufflers & mittens, and riding in carriages & sleighs pulled by horses.
