How’s your day going? Are you digging it?
There’s nothing finer than a California summer day — it’s the perfect time to celebrate the good life with family and friends at festivals dedicated to days. And in Greenville, Calif. locals take the concept of “digging it” quite literally at Gold Digger Days, always the third Saturday in July. A new item this year is Biscuits and Gravy breakfast at the American Legion. Sorry, no more pancakes!
If you’re not catching our drift about “days” celebrations, there are dozens of events with names that include mules, ponies, lumberjacks, fleets, stagecoaches, apples, Big Foot, Paul Bunyan, Danish and more. As luck would have it, “days” festivals usually are free admission.
