Photos clockwise bottom left: Dinosaur Hall at Natural History Museum of Los Angeles features the T. rex growth series — the only trio of different aged T. rex specimens in the world; Wonders of Dinosaurs is a traveling, themed attraction catering to kids; a Brachiosaurus (one of the tallest and largest known dinosaurs) is among 17 animatronic displays at L.A. Zoo’s limited engagement “Dinosaurs: Unextinct”.

Californians are fascinated with dinosaurs. Disneyland’s Grand Canyon~Primeval World diorama with Audio-Animatronic dinosaurs visible from the train circling the Anaheim theme park recently closed for construction of a new Star Wars attraction. Fans who miss the display shouldn’t overlook opportunities to see real dinosaur skeletons in museums and life-size dinosaur attractions throughout the state.
