  • COSTA MESA: OC Fair Imaginology ( April 11-13, 2014 Free admission. Go “Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead” for three days of exploring the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (S.T.E.A.M.) Curious-minded children of all ages can compete in photography, gardening, digital media, sawhorse and Scarecrow contests for cash prizes. There’s a petting zoo, pony rides, family-friendly entertainment, Bubble Rollers and inflatable rides.
  • NEWPORT BEACH: ExplorOcean ( Free Science Saturdays & Science Sundays through December 21, 2014. Families have fun with interactive hands-on experiences to connect to the 7 essential principles of ocean literacy at the Back Bay. Make predictions, ask questions, problem-solve and think like scientists with a new theme each month based on one of the Ocean Literacy Principles.
  • REDDING: The Big Adventure through April 27, 2014 at Turtle Bay Exploration Park ( Challenge yourself, test your mental and physical abilities and explore.  Adventure Mountain, The Tunnels of Fun, Virtual Flyer, River Crossing: Bridge Out, The Main Drag and Charlie’s Web are options in this learning experience best suited for ages 5-12 years old.
  • SANTA ANA: National Engineer’s Week February 15-23, 2014 at Discovery Science Center ( Don’t miss your chance to build and launch a mini parachute, experiment with a gear and magnet wall, and much more! This special week will be filled with hands-on activities with a focus on women in engineering and concluded with our 3rd Annual Egg Drop Competition.
  • SANTA PAULA: Agriculture Career Fair for high school and college students February 15, 2014 at Museum of Ventura County’s Agriculture Museum ( Meet representatives from colleges that offer agriculture courses, and representatives from Ventura County agriculture businesses.
