Don’t Miss the Boat for These Great Ship Festivals

When the wildly popular LA Fleet Week brought traffic to a standstill on the Vincent Thomas Bridge heading into San Pedro several years ago, it became clear to event planners that:
A. There is great demand for rare glimpses into active, military ships
B. For future events offering free military ship tours, a ticket procedure would be needed rather than inviting the public to show up and get in line.
In order to tour the visiting military vessels at LA Fleet Week now, guests must monitor the official website. When ticket reservations become available in August, tour hopefuls should fill out the form right away, or literally miss the boat! Ship vessel types, tour options, and ticket prices vary from port to port.
