Whether it’s sunny or rainy, this weekend brings a firestorm of activity to California with lively events such as the Busker Festival at Seaport Village in San Diego March 2-3, 2019.
In Fresno there’s another event of oddities with more than 70 acts and 300 entertaining shows — Rogue Festival Mar.1-9.
Sacramento is the place to be if you’re into looking at eggs. The Northern California Egg Artists Eggstravaganza Mar.2-3 Celebrates Red, White and Blue this year. This weekend you may find yourself torn between competing events if you’re also a fan of camellias, homes & gardens, Mardi Gras, dogs and beer. They are the subjects of just a few of the festivals and events in the Capitol City.
San Diego also offers a broad mix of eclectic events from Busker Fest (already mentioned,) to Mardi Gras Beads, Bites and Booze Tour, CRSSD Festival or San Diego Bird Festival. Free Family Day returns to Mission Bay’s Marina Village Conference Center– where Bird Fest activities include live bird presentations, interesting workshops, and guided bird walks for the whole family — presented by San Diego Audubon Society.
