EDM Music Fests

Music festivals this week have taken a back seat to Halloween. The scant, few music fests in California are uniquely serving up EDM, or Electronic Dance Music. Recognized EDM producer/DJs and turntablists appearing at three music festivals we were able to track down in Oakland, San Bernardino and Pomona include:
- Zeds Dead – Canadian electronic music duo have been producing music together since 2004. They released one album, Fresh Beetz, before launching Zeds Dead in 2009.
- Congorock – Rocco Rampino is an Italian electro, house and dance-punk producer who found fame with his song, Babylon, in 2010.
- Afrojack – Nick van de Wall from the Netherlands is among the top 10 highest-earning DJs in the world.
- Duke Dumont – Adam George Dyment is a British DJ and music producer who’s Won’t Look Back reached Number 1 in the UK Singles Chart.
- Chromeo – Canadian electro-funk, disco duo David Macklovitch and Patrick Gemayel.

- OAKLAND Spookfest Oct. 31 at Oracle Arena
- POMONA HARDfest Day Of The Dead Nov. 1-2 at Fairplex
- SAN BERNARDINO Escape: All Hallows’ Eve Oct. 31 at NOS Events Center
