Exploratorium Has New Digs, Big Fun in San Francisco

Exploratorium has moved into a new facility (3 times bigger than the previous location) at Pier 15 and is having a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. 600 exhibits in 6 main galleries will explore the outdoors (water, fog, wind, rain,) human behavior, perception of light and sound, the beauty and complexity of life , hands-on build experimenting, and an all-glass gallery for seeing a 360-degree view of natural and constructed worlds. Ticket sales begin April 1, 2013 –advance ticket purchase strongly recommended, including opening day.
