Fair Oaks Chicken Festival Celebrates Local Clucks During National Chicken Month

Published on: September 12, 2012

Fair Oaks, CA–Why DID the chickens cross the road? Evidently to get out of the way of the Fair Oaks Chicken Festival held on September 15, 2012. Yes, Fair Oaks Village! Where chickens and roosters, like queens and kings, are treated as honored dignitaries! These feathery fowl are reason to rejoice at an event paying homage to our chicken brethren (there are more chickens in the world than people!)  Colonel Sanders would be proud.
