Fiesta Hermosa, Graeagle Shop Hop

If Hermosa Beach and Graeagle were cousins, one could be the city slicker and the other might be considered the country bumpkin. Such comparisons would miss the mark for two great destinations that happen to reside in California, and host Memorial Weekend shopping events. Hermosa Beach’s semi-annual Fiesta Hermosa (May 24-26, 2014) takes over the streets surrounding the “HB” Pier with live music, arts and crafts for kids, food courts, and shopping for everything under the sun. On the same weekend (May 24-25) Graeagle hosts its annual Memorial Weekend Shop Hop. The scene is quite different but the fun is the same–looking for treasures you can’t pass up.

- ARNOLD Spring Peddler’s Fair, May 24-25, 2014, among the pines and redwoods at the 4000′ elevation. The Ebbett’s Pass Volunteer Fire Dptm. serves local beers, while Arnold Lion’s Club holds an all-you-can eat pancake breakfast both days from 8 – 11 a.m. The Peddler’s Fair is held from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in downtown Arnold, Highway 4, Arnold, CA.
