Fire Prevention Week is October 8-14, 2017. According to National Fire Prevention Association, in a fire, seconds count. Seconds can mean the difference between residents of our community escaping safely from a fire or having their lives end in tragedy. Sadly, Napa and Sonoma areas have lost community members in the fires this week. For tips on preparing for fires, see nfpa.org

In the late hours of October 8, 2018, Fountaingrove Inn (fountaingroveinn.com) fell victim to the devastating fire in Sonoma County, and guests were subsequently evacuated. “At this time we are unable to conduct business in any capacity,” said Justin Hayman, General Manager. “Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the tragic fire.”
