Flying Pumpkins

This weekend people are doing all sorts of crazy things with pumpkins. Some will weigh them, others will buy and decorate them and then there are those wacky people who turn their pumpkins into racing vehicles in Manhattan Beach. Rarely do you see one go flying, but the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos not only takes pumpkins up and away, it pushes the orange characters out of a helicopter, part of the annual Halloween Haunted Hangar and Witch’s Pumpkin Drop. Other exciting fun this weekend includes pumpkins in an unusual place–the Pismo Beach Pier.
