When Pismo Beach Pier underwent renovation in 2017 the Pumpkins on the Pier event was moved to another venue. The Pismo Beach Pier officially re-opened on October 20, 2018 but the event continued to be held elsewhere and has been renamed Pumpkins in the Park.
31st Annual Pumpkins in the Park (formerly Pumpkins on the Pier) Halloween celebration includes pumpkin decorating, games, crafts, bounce houses, and costume contests. The first 500 children will have the opportunity to pick out their very own pumpkin to decorate! There will be costume contests beginning at 11:30 AM and will include multiple prizes in each division. The divisions will include: 3 years and under, 4-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-12 years, 13+/adult, and family.
