There are over 450 cities in California and practically every one of them has at least one, if not many Halloween events & festivals. The most popular is Trick or Treat with Costume Contests but Trunk or Treats are really moving in! Halloween City Events held usually by city municipality parks and recreation departments or community partners such as chamber of commerce and business improvement district organizations are included in our list of over 200 cities featured. Floating Pumpkin Patches are becoming more popular, year by year. Nearly every city has a municipal swimming pool so it's easy to dump some pumpkins in a pool and charge the kiddies (and adults) to dive in and pick one - as pumpkins float.
