Food Festival Forward

Maybe you just polished off tamales, tacos, enchiladas and burritos for Cinco de Mayo celebrations. There is no rest! The food is being prepped for this upcoming Mother’s Day Weekend festivals, one of the busiest dining weekends for taking out mom. Among the culinary offerings throughout California this weekend you can eat healthy, dine on comfort foods and indulge in rich, delicious chocolate. Pictured are participants at Fork Fest in Santa Barbara, held at Chase Palm Park across the street from the beach and Pacific Ocean. The motto is, “Wanna get forked?” The event draws a large UC Santa Barbara student crowd as well as locals.
