The Blossom Trail Ceremony recently launched Fresno County fruit & nut season’s beautiful beginnings–white, red and pink tree blossoms are the main attraction in February, March and April. Fresno County Blossom Trail is a marketing coop of tourism, farm and retail interests in Fresno County cities: Clovis, Fowler, Kingsburg, Reedley, Parlier, Sanger, Selma, Fresno and Orange Cove.  The Blossom Trail contains no actual trails to walk along and the orchards are on private land (no trespassing) so the best advice is to be safe when attempting to take pictures. From May to November (approx.) the Blossom Trail becomes Fresno County Fruit Trail, inviting you to stop at roadside stands to buy fresh produce.

FRESNO COUNTY FACTS:

  • Of 58 California counties Fresno is the top producer of processing tomatoes, peaches, garlic, plums, cantaloupes, sweet corn and honeydew melons.
  • Fresno’s $7 billion annual sales ranks third under Tulare (1) and Kern (2) Counties.
  • Almonds, milk and grapes (raisins) are the Top 3 farm commodities.
