Winchester Rifles heiress, Sarah Winchester, was haunted just thinking about countless deaths from Winchester guns, and felt that as long as she lived her work wasn’t done. Guided by spirits, she hired workers to build, build, build. They built doors to nowhere, strange stairs, unfinished rooms and embedded in the work, thirteens everywhere.
