You don’t have to believe in ghosts to find cemetery tours fascinating. The Ghost Tour (pictured) in Columbia State Historic Park delves into the lives of those buried in the cemetery during the California gold rush.  They often died young after facing hardships. This particular tour is one of the best because of its historic setting and research that has gone into it. On August 9, 2014 enter the gates of one California’s oldest cemeteries to learn about life in the Gold Rush era. $10 fee.
