Question: Where is the High Sierra Music Festival on June 30-July 3, 2016?

Answer:

  • It started out  in Leland Meadows, CA in 1991.
  • It moved to Bear Valley in 1994 through 1997 and again in 1999. Persistent snow accumulations prompted an urgent need to move the Festival.
  • In 1998 it moved to Plumas-Sierra Fairgrounds in Quincy where it remains today.

The High Sierra Music Festival is an annual three-to-four day event featuring around 50+ bands performing throughout the weekend. Most admission tickets include camping. Located in Plumas County at an elevation of 3,432 feet, Quincy has been named #8 of Coolest Small Towns in America. The setting is breathtaking and the family-friendly festival offers both music and a camping trip filled with night time parades, yoga, arts, food, and good times all around. As of this posting tickets are still available. See: http://highsierramusic.com/
