In the aftermath of the wine country fires, traditions help bring people together, says The Santa Rosa Symphony League, which hosts one the longest running holiday sings. The 37th annual Sing-Along Messiah on Dec.17, 2017 features more than 100 musicians in a spectacular holiday tradition.  Sing-alongs range from orchestras, symphonies and choral group presentations of Christmas carols and The Messiah, to community gatherings around a holiday tree with the mayor leading in song.
