Photographer Nigel Skeet (nigelskeet.com), unveils a homeless photography project with a twist. Instead of the same old, depressing images that are meant to highlight suffering and hopelessness, Nigel photographed 50 homeless people from the Good News Rescue Mission in the same manner he photographs celebrities and rock stars in Los Angeles. The “Brothers, Sisters, Sons & Daughters” exhibition on January 9, 2015 at the Redding Civic Auditorium includes 50 signed portraits for sale to help raise money for the Rescue Mission. Some of the models will be on hand to speak with attendees. Doors open at 6 p.m. The photographer can be reached at (310) 625-9110.
